Covid-19 Information

We are now back delivering our magazines but it is still our priority to protect you, our readers, our team and our fellow citizens.

Therefore we are adhering to the governments advice concerning health and safety guidelines and are keeping up to date with information issued by the World Health Organisation and other institutions and are acting accordingly.
All distributors have been made aware of the guidelines issued by the NHS and have been asked to ensure that they follow them.

All distributors will be staying at least two metres from another person; performing hand hygiene by washing hands frequently with soap and water or using alcohol-based hand rub; following good respiratory hygiene by covering their mouth and nose with their bent elbow or tissue when coughing or sneezing; avoid touching their eyes, nose and mouth.

If any distributor feels ill or has any symptom of Coronavirus they will not be delivering.

World Health Organisation have made it clear that it is safe to handle a package including leaflets and magazines "The likelihood of an infected person contaminating commercial goods is low and the risk of catching the virus that causes COVID-19 from a package that has been moved, travelled, and exposed to different conditions and temperature is also low.”

Scientists and health experts have confirmed that newspapers are not transmitters of Covid-19, due to both the ink and the printing process that they go through.

Reinforcing the statement GP and health broadcaster, Doctor Hilary Jones said: "It's possible to deliver newspapers safely. "If someone physically picks them up and delivers them to a doorstep or letterbox it's safe.”

Please get in touch if you have further questions or would prefer not to receive a magazine during this period.
